Enugwu-Agidi Youth Organisation, a platform for younger generation in Enugwu-Agidi community, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State have commended their President General, PG, Hon. Chukwuebuka Onuorah, noting that he has trained and empowered them as job creators.

The youth who stated this in a letter and sent to the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, disclosed that the initiative has turned the youths into creators, builders, and innovators, injecting new economic energy into Enugwu-Agidi.

They also called on the Anambra State Government to recognize and amplify this homegrown success story as a blueprint for youth development across the state, adding that they now enjoy what governor Chukwuma Soludo is doing in the hinterlands.

The letter signed by the Youth Chairman, Comr. Simon Okafor and Comr. Peace Okafor (Secretary), the youth leaders praised Onuorah’s leadership as a replication of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s “One Youth, Two Skills” vision, noting a drastic reduction in youth restiveness and social vices in the community.

"By equipping our young people with marketable, tangible skills, we are giving them the tools for sustainable independence and a dignified future,” the letter stated.

The letter contrasts Enugwu-Agidi’s progress with neighboring towns still grappling with youth-related challenges, emphasizing that “where despair once brewed, we now see the dignity of labor, the excitement of learning, and the pride of entrepreneurship.”

The youths called Onuorah’s policy “a compassionate and generational sacrifice”, urging the state government and community stakeholders to commend, support, and stand with him rather than criticize his bold approach.

“Hon. Ebuka Onuorah didn’t just talk about youth empowerment; he legislated it into existence,” the letter declared.
