Enugwu-Agidi Assembly endorses Onuorah for second term as Community President General



The Agidi First Assembly (AFA), a group of intelligentsia from Enugwu-Agidi community in Njikoka Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State has urged the Community President General, Hon. Chukwuebuka Onuorah to seek re-election owing to his obviously infrastructural development.

AFA, in a statement dated October 10, 2025 made available to the media, praised Chukwuebuka's administration for citing completed infrastructure projects and enhanced security measures in Enugwu-Agidi, arguing that if allow to go for a second term he would achieve more.

According to them, Ebuka revitalised the Enugwu-Agidi Secretariat Complex, currently functioning as an effective administrative center, constructed Mkpasalaku Bridge, as well as installed CCTV cameras across strategic locations to bolster security.

AFA, while recalling the past leaders, including Okoli, Okam, and Umeano for equally executing some projects like rural electrification, tarred roads, administrative blocks, a post office, Government Technical College, and Girls Secondary School, maintained that Onuorah’s administration has continued uplifting and executing new legacy projects.

They also commended him for always giving supports to indigent residents through social interventions, adding that his transformative leadership would be best compared to the impact recorded by some historical figures such as Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King Jr.

AFA, therefore, called for unity and peace in the community for greater development through youth involvement in promoting positive narratives about Enugwu-Agidi, urging residents to support his various ongoing initiative.

Other natives of Enugwu-Agidi, while contacted confirmed  Onuorah’s direct role in driving multiple transformational projects, raising questions about the motives of persistent critics.
