Anambra is APGA land, will resist attempts to rig bye election- Obigwe
By Okechukwu Onuegbu
The National Coordinator, APGA Media Warriors, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe has dismissed the claims of APC plan to win the Anambra South bye election, assuring that the State remains APGA land and the people will continually return APGA candidates in any election because they have justified the confidence reposed on them.
According to Obigwe, APC is not in existence in Anambra and the party's gubernatorial candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu lacked the required electoral value to give APC victory in any election in Anambra State.
"One thing about Ukachukwu is that when talking to Anambra people, he always forgets that he is not talking to strangers but people that know him very that has rejected him in many elections in the State.
"He wants them to use the August 16th bye election to test run their rigging machinery in the State hence his reason for boasting that they will use the August 16th bye election to show APC owns Anambra. Whatever evil plan they want to perfect in the State on August 16th and November 8th will be vehemently resisted by the vigilante electorates of the State," he alleged.
He added that "He also specialises in making empty boasts just as he did in the above referred news report. This is a man that has never won any election in Anambra State since he started contesting elections in the State. Ukachukwu was APGA Senatorial candidate for Anambra South in the last 2023 general election and he lost the election woefully to the late Senator ifeanyi Ubah of blessed memory. "
