Ebonyi Community Applauds Governor Soludo for Nominating Agunechemba's Spokesperson

Residents of the Amalekwune Ameka Community, Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi state but living in Anambra state has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his proficient administration, thoughtful approach, and inclusive selection of people outside the state to join his administration. 

They pointed out that Governor Soludo’s leadership prioritizes abilities and qualifications instead of party loyalty or regional bias. 

The Amalekwune community showed their gratitude for the selection of their own, Comrade Nweke Nweke, as the spokesperson for the state security team known as Agunaechemba.

While honoring the spokesperson during their new yam celebration at Agulu Town Hall in Fegge, Onitsha last Sunday, they also recognized the governor for appointing another esteemed individual from Ebonyi, High Chief Monday Nwokoye, to head the Special Anti-Touting Squad, commonly referred to as SASA. 

In expressing their appreciation, Comrade Naza Moses, the leader of the town union branch in Onitsha, addressed the crowd at the community’s New Yam festival and expressed gratitude to the Governor for his considerate actions towards the people of Ebonyi State. 

He praised the governor’s efforts in nurturing goodwill among Ebonyi citizens residing in Anambra, underlining Gov. Soludo’s benevolence and his promise of just treatment for everyone, irrespective of their backgrounds. 

He assured attendees that those chosen from their state to serve would live up to expectations, announcing their plan to mobilize numerous community members statewide to cast their ballots for Gov. Soludo in the upcoming gubernatorial election set for November 8. 

"Our aim is to achieve around a million votes for the governor as a token of our appreciation for his support to our community and state. 

"Only God can reward Gov. Soludo for valuing our people. We promise him and the wonderful residents of Anambra state that our members will be responsible, our heartfelt thanks go out to Gov. Soludo," they declared. 

Moreover, Mr. Uchenna Egboma, the secretary, along with Chief Bartholomew Oyibe, a community advocate, expressed their gratitude to Chief Kenneth Emeakayi, the governor’s homeland security advisor, and other officials for their trust in the people of Ebonyi, assuring that those appointed would carry out their roles with commitment. 

Meanwhile, Comrade Nweke Nweke, a veteran journalist and newly appointed spokesperson, expressed his immense happiness at this opportunity. 

He thanked Chief Kenneth Emekayi, whom he considers a mentor and leader, for allowing him to serve and promised to undertake his duties with care and modesty to honor the trust placed in him.
