The governorship candidate of Young Progressive Party (YPP), Sir Paul Chukwuma, on Monday, promised to fix Anambra State for the overall good of the rich and the poor if elected on November 8 poll.

Chukwuma stated this at Enugwu-Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State while being hosted by Chief Micheal Onyeka Obidi, the CEO of Mega Abattoir as campaign for the forthcoming election gathers momentums.

According to him, security of lives and property would be a top priority unlike the current administration in Anambra State which has a misplaced priority and, consequently, failed to prioritize what matters most.

“If you are hungry, will you go to funcity to swim? How many people here can go to the New Government House? Anambra belongs to all of us. We are determined to fix Anambra State. It is time for Anambra youths to take their destiny into their hands,” he queried.

Earlier speaking, the YPP Deputy Governorship candidate, Mr Uzu Okagbue, explained that Sir Paul Chukwuma is resolute in fixing Anambra State and restoring security in the state, so as to boost businesses.

“We want to fix Anambra so that security will return to Anambra State, and businesses will flourish. We will ensure that we fix the security challenges in Anambra State when elected”, he stated.

Paul Chukwuma, who arrived at the Mega Abattoir spot in Enugwu-Ukwu with his Deputy, Uzu Okagbue, and members of his team, was most warmly received by many well-wishers and popular entertainers including flutist Ojaligbo, and Mbem master, Odejiji, and hundreds of youths who came out in solidarity with the YPP team, among others.
