Ogbaru LGA boss tasks contractors on speedy jobs ahead rainy season

The Executive Chairman of Ogbaru Council Area of Anambra State, Chief Kenneth Akwuobi has charged road construction firms handling projects in the area to speed up their efforts ahead the return of rains.
The Council chairman who dropped the message when he went round to inspect some ongoing road projects in Ogbaru Council noted that the need to hasten up efforts was to beat the commencement of the rainy season
Akwuobi inspected on going works at the Council headquarters and roads construction at Iyiowa Odekpe, Asha Street and School Road.
He commended the quality of work done so far by the contractors, but insisted on the need to speed up the pace in line with the time frame of the the contracts.
Residents of the council hailed Akwuobi. They also lauded the State governor, Prof Charles Soludo for keeping his promise to Ogbaru people as well as his efforts to ensure that the roads are ready in no distance time.
