Market Leader Account For His Stewardship In Office For Three Years

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Old Motor Spears Parts Ngbuka Obosi in Idemili North Local government, Chief Samuel Ifurunwa "Igwe" said he was able to advance in his leadership in the market as a result of the good administration of His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo "Oluatuegu". 

Addressing newsmen in his office, Chief Ifurunwa said before his appointment by governor Soludo as the chairman of the market, they were pending cases, which includes, illegal levies, lack of standard toilet, insecurity, lack of portable water, among others. 

His words*When I came in as the chairman of the market there were cases everywhere, insecurity in the market, our toilet was nothing to write home about, no boll hole, no solar lights and many other issues. But we started with security by increasing the number of our security men and the issue of breaking of shops or other way of stealing became a thing of the past in our market* he revealed. 

Continued *We bought and installed solar in all the major lines in the market, giving light in the market and we also installed CCT Cameras in all the corners of the market which made our market today to be the best in terms of security in the state, he metained*

*We have also renovated our toilet to a modern standard and the traders are happy with us, you can see our boll hole there given to the market by the state government* he stated.

The Chairman said most of cases in the market before was as a result of not giving the traders listing ear. He noted that his office is 24 hours open to every trader to laudge his o or her complaint or make a suggestion that could better the welfare of the traders. He further revealed that no more illegal collection of levies in the market.

Chief Ifurunwa commended the traders and good people of Ugwuagba for voting massively for governor Soludo as a reward for what he has done for them. He assured the traders that he would continue to come up with policies that could better the lives of the traders and also could take the market to a greater height.
