Agunechemba Security Outfit Task To Take Over Criminal Hideout In Anambra State.
By Tobias Ekirika
In a bid to eliminate unknown gunmen from their locations within Anambra State, Prince Ken Emeakayi, the Special Adviser on Community Security to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has called on Agunechemba operatives to quickly take control of all camps used by criminal groups across the state.
Emeakayi made this appeal during a meeting with the leaders of the grassroots security team, commending their efforts to address the activities of youth engaging in kidnapping and ransom schemes rather than seeking lawful means of income.
Assuring the community, especially those affected by the criminal youth who had dominated for months before Agunechemba's intervention. Prince Emeakayi noted that they are now better equipped, thanks to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, with advanced cameras and earth-moving vehicles aimed at driving the criminals out of the State.
In a press release today in Awka, officially signed by Comrade Nweke Nweke, the Media/Publicity Secretary of Agunechemba, Prince Ken Emeakayi expressed gratitude towards State Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu for his strong support of the Agunechemba operatives as they combat threats to the state.
"I want to extend my sincere thanks to His Excellency, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for the resources provided to the Agunechemba operatives in their fight against crime. I also commend their dedication that has helped us achieve these milestones. I will ensure that we recognize our operatives, particularly Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu and his team for aiding Agunechemba in helping community members displaced by bandits to return home."
"In this season of Yeiltitue, I want to announce a strategy to silence the criminals, as we are prepared to confront them directly. It is advisable for these wrongdoers to leave the State, as we are no longer waiting for them to come and kidnap; we are actively taking the fight to them. As a parent, if you know your child is hiding in the woods, it is best to bring him back now, for no respectable person chooses to dwell there," warned Prince Emeakayi.
