Anambra 2025: Non-indigenes vow to support Soludo's reelection with 21/21 victory

Association of Non-indigenes in Anambra State, on Tuesday, declared overwhelming support for governor Chukwuma Soludo's re-election across the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 326 electoral wards.

The group, comprising over 20,000 members from across the 35 States of Nigeria and beyond, disclosed this at an endorsement rally organised in solidarity with the Anambra Patriots for Soludo, a major support group for the State governor's relection bid.

Speaking at the occasion, leaders of the group said they were wowed by the governor's policies across sectors, especially on health, education, including infrastructural developments which are accessible to all.

The Traditional Ruler of non-indigenes in Anambra (Igwe Ndi Obia), HRH Ambassador Dr Amos Nkwuda, described Soludo as true patriots and Nigerian, who according to him, do not discriminate against anyone on gender or nationality.

Nkwuda, who stressed that the governor through his free health and educational policies have restored hope and laughter to the entire populace, assured they would mobilise their members and friends living in Anambra to vote massively for him.

"He has rebuilt most of the abandoned properties in Anambra. He is offering us good health and general wellbeing through his health policies. His free education is also topnotch. He is reaching out to everyone not minding their tribes or State of origin. So, we can't stop celebrating him. We will vote massively for him on election day," he added.

On his part, a notable leader of Ebonyi State indigenes in Anambra, Chief moses Agbom, said they would make sure the governor wins all the 326 electoral wards and 21 LGAs on November 8 poll.

According to Agbom, this was because Soludo has been a blessing to Ebonyi State indigenes having given them 37 shops free at Solution modern market (Ekwulobia), empowered and employed most of their members at Okpoko, Awka, among other places.

"Solution government is making us proud. With him, you must experience good governance by force. If you don't eat you match on it. We feel at home in Anambra. We will support him to return and continue with good works," he added.

Earlier speaking, the Chairman of Anambra Patriots for Soludo, Chief Ejiamatu Enekwechi, said the group was in support of Soludo's re-election due to his tireless work, especially infrastructural development and dualization of roads.

According to him, the support group has mobilised resources for the governor's reelection and would ensure that every of their member and relatives vote for him massively.

"If you say you want to support somebody, you bring your resources to bear. We are ready for the governor. We have endorsed him. We have the financial power. We have the resources and members across the 326 electoral wards. With our will power, we will ensure the governor wins 326 wards over 326 wards," he stated.

In a remark, the Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, commended the organiser, Anambra Patriots for Soludo and non-indigenes for their supports, and canvassed for unity and love to move Nigeria forward.

Soludo urged the stakeholders to ensure they come out en-masse to vote on November 8 poll as well as continue supporting every democratic processes wherever they live.

"Work the talk as well as Live it out every day. Once you live in Anambra, you are from Anambra and must be treated equally. We are one indivisible Nigerians. The best driver I've ever had is not from Anambra. The finest minds I've dealt with are from across the Country. We are one," he emphasized.
