Anambra Traders Endorse Soludo For Second Tenure: Donate #10m For His Campaign.

Anambra traders under the umbrella of Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association (ASMATA) led by Chief Hunphery Anuna "Onwa Oraeri" yesterday at Chuba Okadigbo Stadium Inland town endorsed the governor of Anambra state Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo for a second tenure.


In his endorsement address, Chief Anuna thanked the governor for his great achievement to Ndi Anambra and to the traders in particular, he mentioned the good road network of the governor,Agunechmba security outfit and mostly the creation of Special Anti- Tout Squad Anambra (SASA) which he said has performed credible well. "His words SASA has successfully moved all the touts out of streets, roads in the state, our customers are back our businesses are bumming and the traders are happy. Thank you Olu atu-egwu." 


He continued" Mr Governor if all the traders in the state voted for you with our newly inagurated youths wing come November 8 who are your opponent, Olu atu-egwu 4+4  is 8 so you don't have any opponent" the traders are solemnly behind you."


Also speaking, one of the Petrons Chief Jude Nwankwo "Ochendo Umuawulu" noted that the endorsement was to thank the governor for his love and care for the traders particularly for his one youth two skills initiative which according to him has changed the narrative of our youths in the state, and also bringing back Nwaboy (apprentice) into the market which benefits our youths, thereby making them employers of labour.


Others who spoke with our reporter on the occasion include the chairman cattle market association Amansea, Alahji Bello Maigari, chairman ogbogwu market Bridge head Onitsha Mr Chukwulota Ndubuisi in their separate and similar speeches commended the governor for having the affairs of traders st heart. They insisted that the second tenure of governor Soludo is guaranteed.


In his response, the governor of Anambra state Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo (Oluatuegu) who was over wehemmend with the massive turnout of the traders thanked the leadership, patrons and entire traders for the endorsement and the donation assuring them of better days ahead of Anambra traders.


Governor Soludo told the traders that the issue of multiple taxation in the market would be a thing of the past very soon as according to him he will soon call a joint meeting with local government, market leaders to map better ways of collecting taxes in our market.
