Nweke emerges as spokesman of Agunaechemba, as Anambra intensify fight against insecurity

As Anambra State government intensified the fight against insecurity, Agunaechemba security outfit formerly known as Anambra State vigilante group have engaged the services of a media expert, Chief Nweke Nweke as their spokesman.

Nweke, a musician and veteran journalist of repute, was formally presented as the new spokesperson to Chief Kenneth Emekayi, the Special Adviser to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security by Chief Chinenye Iheknor, who oversees the group's operations.

Comrade Nweke Nweke had formerly held the position of Public Relations Officer for the Anambra Vigilante Group.

Chief Iheknor, while unveiling the new public relations officer, urged him to  be dedicated, transparent, and diligent in his responsibilities, expressing confidence that the veteran media practitioner would leverage his skills to strengthen the relationship between the organization and the state's community.

Chief Chinenye Iheknor (Okpompi) further presented the Public Relations Officer with the legislation enacted by the Anambra State House of Assembly which formally established the group, entrusting him with the duty to effectively relay the organization's activities to the public using various media platforms.

While encouraging Agunechemba's spokesperson to reciprocate the government's gesture by accurately representing the security agency through words and actions, the Governor’s Security Adviser expressed high expectations for the new PRO, stating that his prior work as the AVG spokesperson was outstanding.

In response, Comrade Nweke Nweke expressed his appreciation to the Anambra State government for the opportunity to take on this role and pledged to approach his responsibilities with seriousness.

He also took this opportunity to urge journalists to engage closely with his office, especially concerning the ongoing efforts by Agunechemba and other security agencies to combat insecurity in the state.

The Public Relations Officer welcomes the community to reach out to his office with any inquiries regarding the organization or its personnel.
