APLSCD celebrates Practising School Agulu for emerging 3rd champions at Anambra sports festival

Association of Persons Living with Sickle Cell Disorder (APLSCD) has celebrated the Practising School Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area (LGA) for emerging 3rd champions at Anambra State School sports festival tagged ANSSI.

The school had won 7 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, 5 Bronze Medals and N200,000 Cash reward for coming overall 3rd Position in Anambra State.



Some of their players at the game were talented and highly skilled members of the group who had proven that been a carrier of Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD) is neither a death sentence nor a factor to prevent people from displaying their God giving gifts. 

The National Coordinator, APLSCD and Director, Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Homes, Agulu, Mrs Aisha Edward-Maduagwu, while expressing her delight over the development, described it as encouraging and a show of God gifts to them.

She said, "Please permit me to break this this good news of victory for our children who came over all 3rd position in the just concluded Anambra State School Sports Competition.

" As I share this jubilation and celebration begin a parent and a member of PTA, may I urge you all in the spirit of solidarity to trend, appreciate and support their victory across Agulu, Anaocha LGA and Anambra State media platforms because our children deserve to be encouraged and celebrated despite the challenging situation they are facing the school environment. Indeed Practicing School Agulu Pupils are gifted and talented children.Let's celebrate our champions now!"
