Anambra 2025: Ukachukwu not bothered about ADC, interested on removing non-performing Soludo, aide

By Okechukwu Onuegbu

The Southeast organising Secretary, All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Dozie Ikedife (Junior) has dismissed the insinuation that emergence of African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a coalition would stop the party from winning the November 8 poll.

Ikedife, who disclosed this in an interaction with the members of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, explained that interest of their governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is to defeat the "non performing governor Chukwuma Soludo's of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA)."

The son of late Igbo leader, added that ADC was filled with disgruntled persons who did nothing to save Nigeria when they were in power but currently crying like wolves because they have lost power to the ruling government.

"ADC coalition will not affect us in Anambra State. We are not overtly concerned about them because a lot of people in the coalition are those disgruntled for one reason or the other. What did they do when they were in power? What did they keep in power that they want to return to take? Some of them need to take a bow for other people to takeover and impact lives positively.

"Ukachukwu is only concerned with how to legally remove the non performing governor of Anambra State (Chukwuma Soludo). Prince Ukachukwu is the only Igbo man who has been elected as Chairman of Amac LGA, Abuja. He's going to become the first governor Anambra State will produce that has investment in the State. He understands the State because he has invested heavily in the State and understands the business community very well.

"This present administration has performed poorly in the primary healthcare centres. Ukachukwu will provide it to better the lives of our people, especially the pregnant women and children. This is his constituency. He feels the impulse of insecurity in the State. You can't explain to others what you don't know.  For our State to grow and prosper, lives must be secured. I don't think the current APGA administration is doing that.

"There is no governor that has governed Anambra State under the APGA that has any specific investment in Anambra State. This is why we have lost a whole lots of persons and the current administration cared not to profer solution to that. Ukachukwu will provide the security for our people to go home and sleep happily. Anambra State needs a man of God at the helm of affairs to fulfil the practical and spiritual aspects of Anambra people which the residents are yearning for.

"Ukachukwu has engaged in developing Anambra State and will continue doing that. A lot of his staff, including family members, and  elder brother have been kidnapped at several occasions and he paid ransom before they were set free. He has his own ministry too he is using to give back to the society. He has attracted so many roads projects to the State, and many people are currently enjoying his scholarship scheme. We need him to change Anambra for good," he added.
