Stakeholders in Nnewi North Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State have hailed governor Chukwuma Soludo's developmental strides in the industrial hub of Africa, assuring that they would reciprocate by voting massively for All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on November 8 gubernatorial poll.

Governor Soludo's administration has empowered about 500 natives of Nnewi with different skills across all sectors, including agriculture and markets, and currently dualising the Agulu-Nnobi Nnewi-Ozubulu-Ihiala road aside other developmental projects ongoing within Nnewi and its environs.

The Mayor, Nnewi North LGA, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, who disclosed this at a media chat in his office, recalled that one of their sons is also a commissioner in the present administration, adding that some of their natives have equally benefitted from learning digital innovation, one youth two skills, among others.

According to him, the stakeholders have agreed to support the governor's reelection bid and would mobilise eligible voters to return Soludo reelected because his administration has proven that it would impact more lives if given opportunity to continue.

"We haven't seen the type of infrastructural development we are seeing here and other parts of Anambra State before. Soludo has made it possible for us to smile. Works are ongoing here and there despite the raining session.  They are massive that we cannot overlook them. We are absolutely loyal to him and his administration for remembering us. What about security? Everything under him is very impressive," he added.

Speaking on his achievements in office within 6 months, Anazodo reassured the people of Nnewi North that the Council would never relent in providing the dividends of democracy to them while stepping down Governor Soludo's agenda of making Anambra liveable and prosperous.

"We are building a good working relationship with our people. We are seeing the dividends of democracy. My administration has empowred over 200 youths in Nnewi with human capital development. We have purchased JAMB forms for students in collaboration with Nnewi Forum.

"Over 400 farmers also received fertilizers and improved crops like cassava, maize seedlings and others to boost their agric produce and reduce poverty. We have constructed 300 kilometers bridge, rural roads, open and lockup shops for petty traders in our markets.

"We have relocated traders from streets to markets where we also build halls and offices. We do not tax the traders. Governor Soludo is making us to smile again. There is no how our government or people will work against him. Nnewi North will give him 100% votes in the forthcoming election," he added.
